The Chiefs Parade resulted in one person dying near Union Station in Kansas City. The shooting incident there injured 21 people, including children and teenagers. At least three people were arrested by the local police. One of the three suspects tried to escape when the police wanted to arrest him.

The Motive for Shooting at the Chiefs Parade is not yet Known

The police are still investigating the motive for the case. According to CBS News, there was a fight or argument that turned into a case of violence. The violent case triggered the shooting. The police confirmed that the shooting was not related to terrorism or extremism. The shooting suspect held a gun when they were arrested by police.

All victims who suffered minor and serious injuries have also been rushed to the hospital. There are at least three local hospitals that are the destination for treatment of victims of the Chiefs Parade shooting. Two victims at University Health Hospital are in critical condition.
